Normanda's Memphis Dry Rub Recipe

Memphis, TN is world-renowned for its dry ribs, cooked with a rub but no sauce. Here is a recipe that would make any Memphian happy.

  • 1/2 cup Paprika
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 cup Chili Powder
  • 3 tablespoons Salt
  • 3 tablespoons freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Celery Seeds
  • 4 teaspoons Cumin
  • 3 teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons White Pepper

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together until well-combined.
  • Store in an air-tight container up to 6 months.
